That's why I want you to feel free to call before you buy and speak to me, the artist who creates the work, so you can have your questions answered. I would want to assure you that the art work on this website is original, of very high quality, and entirely hand-painted by Dee Van Houten, the artist and designer of this web site. The limited edition giclee prints offered here were printed on high-resolution, digital inkjet printers, and the paper on which the paintings have been printed is watercolor museum, digital fine art paper.

Beautiful animal art such as tropical birds and colorful, tropical fish and clownfish, are favorite subjects of mine, along with puffins, dolphins, elephants, flamingos, pandas, and koala bears. Dee Van Houten's art style blends curvilinear stylization with traditional realism, giving her animal art work a painted, yet illustrative look.
