I would want to assure you that my art is original, of a very high quality and entirely hand-painted by Dee Van Houten, the artist and designer of this web site. The limited edition giclee prints offered here were printed on high-resolution, digital inkjet printers, and the paper on which the paintings have been printed on, is watercolor museum, digital fine art paper.

Beautiful animal art, such as, tropical birds and colorful, tropical fish and clownfish, are favorite subjects of mine, along with puffins, dolphins, elephants, flamingos, panda, and koala bears. My art style blends curvilinear stylization with traditional realism, giving my work a painted, yet illustrative look.

Don't forget to check out my animal art Noah's Ark poster, which displays pairs of whimsical animals who are playfully celebrating the New Orleans Mardi Gras. You will see a giraffe playing the saxophone, while his partner smiles and gazes out over the ocean. Turtles wearing feathers and beads, and elephants and zebras donning colorful masks, can also be seen joining in the Mardi Gras fun.
